Wedding Makeup Trial Information

About the Bridal Trial

The wedding makeup trial is for you to test potential wedding makeup looks, so that I know exactly the route to take when creating your bridal look the day of the event. A trial is not required but highly recommended. Some brides opt for multiple trials, especially if they feel inspired by different looks, but most brides book and enjoy a single trial. Mother of the bride or mother of the groom trials are always welcome (or for that matter, a trial for any other guest!). However, each wedding makeup trial is for one person only and cannot be shared or split.

Scheduling Your Trial

  • Brides schedule makeup trials anywhere from a month before the wedding to a year out, it's totally up to you! If you want to ensure we can create your perfect wedding look, let's get the trial on the calendar as soon as possible.

  • If you plan to have a tan for your wedding day, it’s optimal to have a similar skin tone for your trial. This isn't a necessity, as many summer brides do their trials in the winter, but I do think it's helpful to get a sense of how the makeup looks on your wedding day.

  • Trials typically take place on Saturday or Sunday. My corporate and commercial work takes place during the week.

  • I try to accommodate specific date requests, but trial timing is dependent on availability.

  • You can schedule your trial here on my website.
