A second artist is required when the getting ready time is condensed or more than seven faces are getting makeup.
The second artists that I bring on weddings all have a similar skillset, style, experience level and professionalism as myself.
Since the second artist is comparable to my level of experience and skill, their daily rate and travel expenses are equivalent to mine. It's the most effective means to secure a high caliber artist.
The second artist fee also covers communication and coordination between the other artist and me, as well as the lip kits and other products I supply for the second artist to use on their clients.
