After a disappointing consultation at a local makeup store, I contacted Alexandra looking for a one-on-one makeup lesson. My goal was to learn the basics of makeup application and to get recommendations for an everyday, natural look that I could incorporate easily into my daily routine. Alexandra listened to my goals and delivered 110%. My background in makeup before our lesson was NADA and I left the lesson with a realistic routine, and more confidence in choosing the right makeup products for my skin. Alexandra was super patient as I took notes the whole time, and gave specific brand/color recommendations. She applied makeup to one half of my face and I did the other half as she watched and gave tips. To be honest, I was hesitant to spend money on a one-on-one lesson BUT it was definitely well worth it. It was the best way for me to learn and I think I'll use the knowledge for many years going forward!

I can’t say enough positive things about Alexandra! She came highly recommended by another bride I know, and I’m so happy I followed that recommendation. Alexandra is incredibly talented and made me look absolutely beautiful on my special day. What I appreciated most was her ability to listen to what I wanted and her willingness to make tweaks until I was completely happy with the look. She’s also fantastic at doing makeup for mature faces, so my mom looked gorgeous as well!
A fantastic bonus was that every person getting their makeup done received a complete set of new makeup brushes to keep, which were used just for them. Each of us also got a set of lashes, along with a lip liner and lip gloss to keep - an amazing high-end touch (and also incredibly clean).

Alexandra is the BEST! Worth every penny. I'm usually so picky about getting my makeup done, but once I had my trial with her, I realized I'd just never had anyone good do my makeup. She was so fun and easy to work with, and really made feel at ease. She traveled to Vermont where I was getting married and my friends who hadn't even planned on getting their makeup done, saw how amazing she was and asked to be squeezed into the schedule. Alexandra was a pro and able to fit everyone in - we looked great. My makeup lasted all night long too - didn't need any touching up or fixing. She's worth every penny!
